We founded Swan Abbey Press in 2024 to give voice to emerging and mid-career writers whose artistry falls just outside the margins of the establishment. With a focus on fiction of the highest literary merit, we offer works that present the lives of carefully-imagined characters in landscapes at once familiar and transporting.

We publish novels and short story collections rich with the complexity of regional concerns, particularly those of the South, the Deep South, the Midwest, and the Francophone diaspora.
