Stephanie Dupal
Stephanie Dupal is a Franco-Canadian and American tenured professor of English who teaches composition, literature, and creative writing at Northern Virginia Community College. She earned an M.A. in English with a focus on postcolonial literature from James Madison University and an MFA in Fiction Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
She published two dozen stories, some of which were selected as finalists or winners for literary awards, appearing individually in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Norway. The Kindness of Terrible People and Other Stories is her first collection. She and her husband Travis live in the greater Washington, D.C. area and are parents to five children.
